XO VELO (formerly Ottawa Velo Vogue)

It all began on a Trampoline...Ottawa Velo Vogue (now XO Velo) came to life in February 2011 while bouncing on a trampoline.A few months later, Zara began photographing the lovely people of Ottawa while on their bikes. Many times she chases after them on the streets but recently has had more and more spectacular characters suggested to her by the growing network of riders in the know.Many photos snapped, a growing media presence and two years later; two successful bicycle fashion shows have also been organized with a third on the way featuring local designers and local businesses. XO uses these to raise money for local charities, most recently Causeway's CycleSalvation and Ottawa's own RightBike.
